FLHSMV Resources for DDI Clients
New EFS/ ETR Dealer? Here’s the process
- Get Dealer License
- Obtain EFS/ETR Provider (DDI)
- File 82083 and dealership 4-digit pin with DDI, who will execute and send to the state
- Once FLHSMV approves, get metal plates from your Tag Agent and 30-day tags from DDI
- Send user list with drivers licenses and background affidavits to obtain FL customer numbers
- Go live to print temp tags, handle title transactions and print decals for metal plates at issuance
ELT – Electronic Lien and Title
DDI Technology can serve as your ELT provider, too! Let us know if you do not have a FL ELT number or would like to transfer your ELT service from your current provider. Questions? Schedule a training session.
Dealer Continuing Education
Independent dealers are required to complete a continuing education course. Approved providers offer both continuing education and Pre-Licensing courses year-round. Contact the provider directly for more information on CE fees, schedules, etc.
A list of current continuing education providers is maintained on the flhsmv.gov site at: FLHSMV approved Motor Vehicle Dealer Training Schools
