FLHSMV Resources for DDI Clients

New EFS/ ETR Dealer? Here’s the process

  1. Get Dealer License
  2. Obtain EFS/ETR Provider (DDI)
  3. File 82083 and dealership 4-digit pin with DDI, who will execute and send to the state
  4. Once FLHSMV approves, get metal plates from your Tag Agent and 30-day tags from DDI
  5. Send user list with drivers licenses and background affidavits to obtain FL customer numbers
  6. Go live to print temp tags, handle title transactions and print decals for metal plates at issuance

ELT – Electronic Lien and Title

DDI Technology can serve as your ELT provider, too! Let us know if you do not have a FL ELT number or would like to transfer your ELT service from your current provider. Questions? Schedule a training session.

Dealer Continuing Education

Independent dealers are required to complete a continuing education course. Approved providers offer both continuing education and Pre-Licensing courses year-round. Contact the provider directly for more information on CE fees, schedules, etc.

A list of current continuing education providers is maintained on the flhsmv.gov site at: FLHSMV approved Motor Vehicle Dealer Training Schools
